118ml EZ Weld Heavy Duty Cement

E-Z Weld Heavy Body Clear is a heavy bodied, slow set PVC Solvent Cement. This cement is part of our Industrial Grade line of products. This cement is formulated for use on PVC pipes and fittings. It is viscous (thick) and, carries very good gap filling properties. This cement is ideal for joining large diameter PVC/ uPVC pipes & fittings where the gap between pipes and fittings is large. It may also be used on small diameter pipes and fittings. This cement requires a longer cure time. When joining large diameter pipe & fittings the use of primers is highly recommended.

Application:
Clear, Heavy Body, PVC/uPVC cement for use on all classes & schedules of PVC pipe and fittings with Interference fit through 12" (315 mm) diameter. Industrial Strength cement formulated for gap filling, recommended for
plumbing, Industrial, Irrigation and electrical condult. For superior joint use with one of our E-Z Weld Primers, Purple (212 or 221") or Clear (211 or 224"). Never add thinner or additive. Never use the cement if it is stringy or Jelly like. Always follow Instructions on the label.

Application temperature: 32°F to 110°F (0°C to 43°C).
Storage temperature: 45°F to 110°F (7°C to 43°C).

ASTM has developed the following schedule and may be used as a guide (for relative humidity 60% or less. Sch. 40 size pipe.) eg. a 2" pipe size joint made at 55°F, 50% Relative Humidity and a test pressure of 100 psl would require a cure time of 4 hrs.

This product is tested, certified and approved by NSF International for use on drain, waste and potable water systems. It is also listed by the International Association of Plumbing & Mechanical Officials (IAPMO). It carries the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) seal. This cement meets ASTM Standard D2564.

Quality Assurance:
Every batch of cement is carefully checked and monitored to assure consistently high quality standards. Records of every batch are kept. All Ingredients are purchased from approved suppliers. This cement has passed the following test performed in accordance with ASTM Std. D2564.

Lap Shear:
.250 psl (2.76 Mpa) after 2 hour cure time at 73°F (23°C)
.500 psl (3.45 Mpa) after 16 hour cure time at 73°F (23°C)
.900 psl (6.20 Mpa) after 72 hour cure time at 73°F (23°C)

Hydrostatic Burst:
.400 psl (2.76 Mpa) after 2 hour cure time at 73°F (23°C)
